Oh What Makes You Glitter?

How many of you enjoy being witness to weddings?
Because I do!
I love love love attending weddings!
So here in these photos we attended three special summer weddings. =)

So let's see.
My favorite part in a wedding is that when the bride walks down the aisle.
I'm always teary eyed during that part.
Then I also love the part where the couple do their exchange of vows.
Being witness to that makes me feel like I'm also renewing my own vow of commitment, faithfulness and love.

The first wedding we attended here was that of Juvielleth and Michael's. It was a lovely garden wedding by the beach and the pool area of 7AR Resort. The motif was somewhat turquoise and blue so this was my outfit.

Dress: Forever21; Stilettos: Charles & Keith; Purse: LV Monogram Speedy

In attending weddings, I usually would dress the color of the motif so to blend with the crowd.
The one I'm wearing here is actually just a mix and match of a wardrobe. The pieces (kimono and glittery dress inside) aren't really together when I got them, but they are of the same brand.

Now, take a peek to the Palamurchuck-Sayod Nuptial...
Vince was one of the chosen Principal Sponsors here. He also gave a heartfelt advise to the couple during the reception. One of the many things he mentioned which I like the most is that "The wife, no matter what is always right." Lol. He was kidding of course. =) Seriously now, my favorite is that of him saying that in love, we can actually always choose to love, just as Jesus loves us all unconditionally. He also said that God must be the center of the marriage that He may bless it.

Then here for this one, we went to two weddings held on the same day. We didn't have the time to go back home to change so I just wore something that can be fine for both.

Thank goodness, the motif was blue and purple, I think this outfit passed for both. =) The dress code indicated in the invitation also says smart casual so this is what I chose to wear.

The first wedding we attended for this day was that of the Basa-Abelita couple. The bride, Mary Pearl or "Shanna"as we call her is Vince's cousin from his mother's side of the family.

So here, take a look at Mr. & Mrs. Juan Carlo Basa's most memorable day...

Vince was once again chosen as a Principal Sponsor here.

Then, a little later on that day, we proceeded to yet another one- that of the Bejo-Revil Wedding.

Dress: Zara; Stilettos: Aldo; Purse: LV Damier Speedy

The Bride here- Angel is also Vince's cousin, but this time from his father's side of the family.

Now take a peek... =)

Do you recognize that pretty lady beside me in the photo? She's Vince's cousin EJ, the sister of Angel. She's a commercial model for quite a number of products as well as in big billboards along EDSA (i.e. C2). We are really proud of her!

I feel really blessed when I attend weddings. I find delight with the fact that God has joined two unique individuals together.

Now, I'd like to share with you this poem I made...

Weddings, Oh What Makes You Glitter!
by Kaye Celera-Revil
23 April 2012

Gowns, vows, ribbons and hem
Twirls, curls, bride with a gem
Glitter oh glitter, from where do you stem?
Where is thy source, may you share it to them

Beautiful sight, lovely feelings inside
Is it what made people decide
To take the leap and go for the ride
Where kisses and hugs are not anymore to hide?

It is the time to profess, c'mon oh be brave to confess!
Oh love is it you that shines? Perhaps love, nothing less.
As we witness let there be no room for any mistress
But faithfulness and forgiveness to reign in such fullness

For I do's regardless how short
Our society and people respect, remember and support
Annulment, divorce, aha, but a last resort
For marriage once made, oh please never distort!

For behold two souls when brought together in God's court,
Love, trust and hope for each other, must be put forth
To glitter and never wither
With Jesus Christ in thy hearts as Lord and Savior.

The Heat Is On

It's officially summer time here in the beautiful islands of the Philippines!
Classes are over, things get lighter,
fashion adds color, but it's getting hotter...
and the beach is the place to spot her...
=)

So here in these photos, we were at Palani Beach at Balud, Masbate. I love the peace and serenity of the place. I was able to relax and meditate. As what my husband Vince always tells me "Seeing the beauty of nature is like communing with God." Indeed, when I see His wonderful creations I'm awestruck! God is so great!  I feel so privileged to even be able to marvel at His glorious works.
I love you Lord! All praises to you Magnificent Most High! Thank you for everything!

Hat: Client's Gift; Top: Bazaar's; Skirt: Ria Alazas' Habibi Collection

By the way, the reason why we were at the Beach was because of Vince's cousin RJ Abelita Delmendo Lim's birthday. Apart from the food and swimming, there were fun games too as well as surprise gifts and prizes. Scholarship awards were also given to the lucky residents of Balud, Masbate. I felt so honored to be given the chance to pick some of the winners. This scholarship grant can be claimed from Southern Bicol Colleges. It's also the school where me and my husband teach Law. =)

It's really nice to be with family and relatives, as well as with true friends who care.
I thank you all for all the goodness you've shown to us! We can feel that and we are grateful, thank you!

Do you like my skirt? You can order that from my friend Ria Alazas here: RIA ALAZAS

Now I'd like to share with you this short poem I made today while meditating...

The Heat Is On
by Kaye Celera-Revil
(17 April 2012)

With all the heat that surround
Support from God is around
His love always abounds
The Lord's name resounds

Burning desire
Ignite me like fire
Oh give me the strength
To walk the path & the length

For the Heat is on
Morning & evening 'til dawn
Light & guide me oh Lord
That I may not go overboard

That despite it all
 Faith not to stall
But stand still and uphill
Reveal to my heart your will.

God bless us all!

And today this Festival begins...

The Rodeo Masbateño Inc. by which Vince Revil is one of the incorporators, invites everyone to come, ride, rope and rule with the Masbateños!

The Office of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, together with Mr. Bimbo Danao as Secretary to the SP and Ms. Vacion Merioles, join Vice Governor Vince Revil and RMI Pres. Judge Manuel Sese in extending the invitation to us all!
This was taken at the Social Center, wherein various Rodeo Designs were made and placed. The background in the photo is that which was sponsored for by Vince Revil. You may go there and take photos too. =)

Here he was practicing with this horse as he would be riding it for the parade.

I don't want to ride as I was a bit scared so I'm just posing here. Lol. =)

But check out these pretty brave children!!!

Daddy Vince teaches them to be brave and courageous! =)

In this photo are Judge Armin Revil, Vice President of RMI and my husband's brother  together with TV 5 representatives and us. =)

Child At Heart

Since my birthday fell on a Good Friday, we deemed it proper not to have a big celebration. We just went to the Beach a day before it then had a simple lunch at home with the family. The photos are at my Facebook Account. If you'd like to know more about me you may press here--> Kaye Revil

So today is already a day after my birthday.
Another year was added to my years.
I may have grown older, but I am a child at heart.
Hence, these photos were taken by the playground to depict that look. =)

Now, let me share with you this short poem I made...

It's My Birthday
by: Kaye Gerona Celera Revil
06 April 2012

I'm a year older
Probably a little wiser
Most likely became nicer
More experiences gone through
Lots of love and care felt too
Life has been full of blessings
To the Blesser my heart sings

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Oh Lord, may you always bless my heart!
That with you, I'll never be apart
Like a child with a fresh start
Renew, ignite and use me to impart
The good news of your salvation
To your people especially the next generation
So help me God.

So today, we joined the Labao Family's Thanksgiving Party for Atty. Rex- our soon to be nephew, being the fiancé of our niece Daisy Dindin Revil. Dindin is Manoy Al's eldest daughter.  Manoy Al is the eldest brother of Vince Revil, my husband. Hence, she is our niece and Rex and her will be married soon. =)

Life is so full of blessings, isn't it?
All of life's goodness we will fully appreciate
if we learn to be a child at heart...
